Joint pain can be soreness, pain or swelling that comes from within the joint itself or any part of the joint, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, bone and cartilage.1

People who experience joint pain may feel stiffness, aches, or feelings of warmth or heat in the affected areas. Joint pain can affect people of any age – not just older adults.2

The length of time that someone experiences joint pain can also vary. Pain is generally acute or comes on slowly and persists over the long term.2

The good news is that there are ways you can manage your joint pain. If you experience joint pain, it’s important to speak with your pharmacist or doctor for more information.

They are best placed to help recommend certain strategies, such as lifestyle modifications, supplements, medications or a referral to another healthcare professional.3
